The collected raw materials are quickly dried outdoors or under a canopy, spread out in a thin layer, turning it over often.

 

When drying slowly, the grass turns black. It is better to dry in dryers at a temperature of 40-50 ° C. Stored for 2 years. The herb of water pepper contains flavonic glycoside, rutin, glycoside polyhopiperine, which determines the effect on the uterus, vitamins K, E, C, tannins, essential oils and organic acids, salts of manganese, magnesium, and titanium.

 

Preparations of water pepper have anti-inflammatory, analgesic, irritating, and hemostatic properties, and are able to reduce the permeability of blood vessels.

 

Applied inside with uterine bleeding, during copious and painful menstruation, bleeding from the bladder, gastric and hemorrhoidal bleeding, diarrhea, enterocolitis, colitis, hemorrhoids, hemoptysis, dropsy, kidney stones and bladder.
