Recipe for healthy balls of dates and nuts. There is no sugar in the composition, but the dates are very sweet and tasty. Perfect for tea or your morning workout.

Description of preparation: Below I will give a step-by-step description of how to make candies from dates and nuts. For such sweets, you can use any nuts that you like. I have a mixture of walnuts and almonds. If desired, orange zest, ground cinnamon, cloves and cardamom can be added to the energy balls.

  • 8-10 pieces dates

  • 80-100 grams nuts

  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder

  • 2-3 tablespoons coconut flakes

 

Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients.

 

 

Step 2

Grind the nuts into coarse crumbs.

 

 

Step 3

Soak dates in hot water for 5-8 minutes. Drain the water, grind the dates with a blender.

Step 4

Add the dates, cocoa and coconut flakes to the bowl with the nuts. Stir until smooth.

 

Step 5

Roll balls out of the resulting mass.

 

Step 6

Stir the balls in cocoa powder and coconut flakes.

Step 7
