It is prescribed orally for acute bronchitis, tracheitis, rheumatism, toothache and headache, pneumonia, and hypotension. Externally it is used for difficult-to-heal wounds, inflammation of the skin, oral mucosa, rashes, boils, and it also removes bad breath.
